                               RESOLUTION NO. 20303
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF
                   TWO THOUSAND (2,000) FEET OF EIGHT-INCH (8")
                   WATER MAIN AND TWELVE (12) FIRE HYDRANTS FOR
                   PUBLIC FIRE PROTECTION AT LOCATIONS MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND
                   AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF THE TARIFF THEREFOR.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the installation of 2,000 feet of
       eight-inch (8") water main and twelve (12) fire hydrants for
       public fire protection be and is hereby authorized at locations
       described herein:
             1.	 1,000 feet of 8" main south on Peterson Drive to
                 Merlin and 1 fire hydrant at Peterson and Merlin.
           
             2.	 1,000 feet of 8" main on Young Avenue from Dugdale
                 Street to Riverview Road.
           
             3.	 1 hydrant on River Vista Drive 1,000 feet south of
                 Young Avenue.
           
             4.	 1 hydrant on North Avenue 400 feet south of
                 Devonshire Street.
           
             5.	 1 hydrant on Riverview Oaks Road 500 feet north of
                 Riverview Road.
           
             6.	 1 hydrant on Dell Brown Road 600 feet west of
                 Bledsoe.
           
             7.	 1 hydrant on Kelly's Ferry Road at Hemlock Circle.
           
             8.	 1 hydrant on Kelly's Ferry Road at Fern Avenue.
           
             9.	 1 hydrant on Kelly's Ferry Road at Dower Road.
           
            10.	 1 hydrant at 130 Brown's Ferry Road.

            11.	 1 hydrant at 340 Isbille Road.
           
            12.	 1 hydrant at 3912 Kelly's Ferry Road.
           
            13.	 1 hydrant on Kelly's Ferry Road at Aster Avenue.
           
           
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that payment of the tariff to
       the Tennessee-American Water Company be and is hereby authorized.
